Snow Day

First! For Aspen!

Today was a snow day! Jaycob doesn't normally have school on Mondays anyways, but Daddy got the day off of work too! The weather people guessed a good 6"-12" and we got it all!
We took out the kids this morning to play. I have to tell you it was a pain to find clothes that were going to keep them warm enough and dry enough. Even after the fact, Jaycob's feet were soaking wet when we came in! Poor guy!

Above: Our little snow piles. The snow was just packy enough to make these and snowballs, but anything bigger it would just fall apart. Daddy and I were kinda disappointed because we wanted to make a snowman. Me, Abygail, and Jaycob making snow angels! Below: Abygail just had to go down the slide! I think she ended up with a back full of snow to tell you the truth!

I know its been a while. I got a new computer, new video camera, and new photo editing software. So I've been playing with it all and trying to figure it all out before I started messing with other programs! To hold you over until I finish figuring it all out I have some pics from yesterday!

It was beautiful out yesterday and I took the kids out for a while. Then it turned in a hurry and there was an over 30 degree temp difference!!

Update: I've back dated the post that goes to those days, wrote them today though...

Sunrise

Yep, it was my turn to get up with Jaycob, our little early riser!! And for that I got rewarded with this beautiful sunrise when I let Oreo out... Guess the picture really doesn't do it justice, but I thought I would share it anyhow!

Freezer Pop Naked Sky!

We gave the kids freezer pops today. Abygail was highly disappointed that hers was gone so fast. (The little pig!! lol) Jaycob however savored his as long as he could. Of course there was a lack of adult supervision when they got done so they then started playing in the bucket of sand that Older Sister had left out there. Hmmmm.... Sticky freezer pops + beach sand = Nasty mess!! I was not about to let them in the house like that so I did what every brilliant mother would do....... Fill up the pool!!! They were naked before I could even get the pool filled. I shot some really cute pictures of that time, but.... They're a little on the pornographic side for the public eye!! Both of them stark naked and all!


And more shots of the sky! I don't know why I have taken such an interest in the sky lately.... But here you go. And yes they are in order and I didn't mess with then at all! Kinda cool, huh?
