Abygail's Allergy Test

Well, we were supposed to have an allergy test done today. But I called them this morning and asked if the antibiotic would effect the testing. It doesn't, but they said if she does have a fever they can't do the tests. She DOES still have a quite high temperature so we had to reschedule her test for a later date!

I am kinda bummed because I did find out that it will be a scratch test done on her back. Poor thing.

Random Pics From the Day

You can just tell Abygail doesn't feel well... Poor baby!

At first it was a man with hair. Then I think he realized it looked more like a sun so he just kept adding sun rays!! Either way he was quite proud of himself!

High Temperature

So I took Abygail into the doctors today for a high temp. She's been sitting at 104. or above since last Thursday. Tylenol was bringing it down but not by much. The lowest she's been in the last week has been 101.4. So I took her in to find out that she has an ear infection. The antibiotic they gave her is Suprax.

Other Stats:
Age - 2 years 4 months 7 days
Weight - 26.4 Pounds
Height - 36"/ exactly 3 feet tall!
Waist - 18"
Inseam - 14"

I will add the picture she drew while we were there later so make sure you check back!!
Oh the sticker she got for listening to the doctor!

Assessments II

So I went to the next meeting for Jaycob's assessment. Really it was just them telling me what steps they want to take next. And to sign a bunch of papers.

Next we'll be waiting for papers in the mail to set up a real speech assessment and other papers for me to set up a meeting with the school they'll be enrolling him in! I'm so excited! From what they were telling me its a 3-4 day class at the local public school. It will be a 3 y/o class and they provide bus transportation. My only thing is that their cut off date for the classes is September 1st. So really he'll be 4 for the whole school year in a 3 y/o class... But we'll have to see how it goes!

Just waiting on all this paper work now!

Quiet Again

Well, everyone has went home. Luckily the girls didn't get sick on the way home. Cousin E is still talking about Jaycob saving the day by rescuing 'Todd' (her bear)!

The kids were asking where everyone was when Daddy came back from the airport. Even though almost everyone got sick our visit was still a good one! Thanks for coming guys!

Well Enough for Outside

Some sniffles and snotty noses still going around, but well enough for outside play! For me it was a bit chilly, but these kids and the Northerner thought it was GREAT weather! I guess when you come from several feet of snow this would be a heat wave! (I think it was in the high 50's)

Abygail playing hopscotch... kinda!

Yep, the rare picture of me! It's nice to have someone else behind the camera once in a while! Thanks Aunt A!! The girls got the wild idea that my feet looked like something fun to ride on. (A, maybe this is why my butt hurt! LOL). And yes I did chalk outlines of each of the kids. They were all ran over right at the foot of my driveway!

So Not Fun!!!

After our trip to the aquarium half of us ended up quite sick with a stomach bug for the next couple days. We didn't do anything fun except care for ourselves and the children! We were all disappointed that all of our plans had to be thrown out the window for a couple days.... I mean even the kids didn't really feel like playing together!

A Day at the Aquarium pt.2

This was the best part of our aquarium trip if you ask me! To start with, the Atlantic Coral Reef is my favorite section of the aquarium. At the very top we caught some divers feeding the fish. They seen the kids and immediately asked the kids if they wanted to help. This is NOT a normal part of the aquarium experience. But they treated us like we were VIP and let the kids feed the fish for as long as they wanted. If you can see in the pictures what they're feeding the fish... I would have never guessed they feed fish from the coral reef frozen peas!! Abygail of course had to be told not to eat them, feed them to the fish!!!
We did end up staying for quite a long time throwing peas into the water! The kids had a blast. Even Cousin E who ended up not feeling well this day kinda came out of her fog to happily feed the fish! I thought it was all great!

Abygail peeking out from around the bubble tubes. And again out from the shark jaws!

Grandma and Jaycob leaving the aquarium and going across the bridge.

Jaycob thought this fish was cool!

We ended up getting home quite late and Daddy had a nice warm s'getti dinner waiting for us!

A Day at the Aquarium pt.1

The trip to the aquarium went well. All the kids were well behaved, but they were more then ready to get out of the van when we got there. Then again us adults were too!

We got there just in time to head up to the dolphin show. I mean we bought our tickets at 12:47pm and the show started at 1:00pm. We had about 10 minutes to get 4 toddlers up four floors!! Yeah there was a lot of "come on, lets go" going on!

All the kids were really patient waiting for the show to begin and also during all the boring parts.

At one point they had two dolphins swim on their backs with a big turtle or duck on their chest. Abygail thought this was great, as you can see!

All the kids thought it was great when the trainers got into the water with the dolphins. Cousin E wanted to get in her suit and go swimming too. Jaycob just kept saying "She in the water!"

Next came the frogs. Aunt A or I didn't get to see or take any pictures of those since the younger two took that moment to decide to fill their pants!! But according to Grandma C. the older two had fun and Cousin E even touched something in a touch tank!

After diapers were changed and we made it back with the others it was time to see the 'Wings in the Water' exhibit. This is usually a favorite for Jaycob. This time was no different! There was also a large sea turtle, but my picture was too dark. :-(

The kids did get to watch divers go in and feed the animals in the sting ray exhibit. They were being fed some lettuce and other unidentified stuff!

Next came the sharks. Jaycob LOVED this part! I like the first picture. It looks like a reflection, but its not.

Next came some puffins and smaller fish tanks

After that we moved onto the Tropical Rain Forest exhibit. First picture is the scarlet ibis. The second is a blue-crowned motmot.

Fun at the Park

Today was a beautiful day so we went out to the park! Along with Grandma and the rest of the gang we invited Aspen and Maddy! It was all so much fun! All of enjoyed the bit of warmer weather we had for the day!
