Famous Again!!

Remember a couple Saturdays ago when we went trick or treating at the gardens?? Well, I happened to be googling for something else when I came across this..... I did change names and all that, but this is copied right from the newspapers site!!! Yep, my kids must look good in the paper since this is the second time this year!

Tony Houston, 4, of 'Nearby' was dressed as a fireman while his sister Katie, 3, was dressed as a pumpkin Minnie Mouse at the haunted trail Saturday morning at The Gardens. The annual daytime trick-or-treat event brings out local organizations and businesses to hand out candy, books and games to children. Proceeds from the $1 entry fee go to charity.

First Media Exposure

Yay! I'm so excited!!

Remember I barely made a mention that we went to a family fun night?? Well , we were told there was a chance that Jaycob(and Kaylee and Maddy) might make the paper. We looked in last weekends paper and didn't see them or even an article to mark the event, so we just figured that was that!

Lo and behold!!! This week I open the paper to see this....

Maddy here really didn't want anything to do with these princesses. I think out of 3 of us taking pictures this is the best one!

And while we're on the topic of news... Did you hear about that poor girl who had her intestines sucked out by the wading pool drain. Here's the story and video. And to think that this actually happens often enough! I think its time for there to be a national standard on what is required from pools!!
