Valentine's Day Celebration

Jaycob had a day off school today so I decided to do a large part of our Valentine's crafts.

Re-inforced hearts!

Handprint Hearts! Jaycob's the only one I got a picture of actually working on his. But the finished picture is both Jaycob and Abygail's.

Decorating Cookies! We cut, baked, frosted, and decorated heart cookies.

And of course enjoyed eating them!

County Fair 2008

Today we went to the fair again this year like I said we would last year. We didn't spend nearly as much time with the animals this year as last. The kids were just to weary of them. We made it through one side of a barn and one side of the rabbit and fowl section. That was enough for them! Abygail held her noise the entire way through both saying she smelled something. It was too cute!

We played 1 game this year. The one they loved last year were they got to pick a duck and pick a prize. Jaycob got a car and Abygail picked a stuffed duck.

This year we were able to ride a couple rides! It started with a train, the kids and I rode that around the track more then a few times. They enjoyed it, to me it was the train ride that never ends!! The whole time they were riding the train they seen the kiddie roller coaster and wanted to go on it... Problem being 1)we didn't think Jaycob would handle it well by himself and 2)we didn't have enough tickets for all of us to ride. So we talked them into these cars instead. Jaycob and Abygail seemed to LOVE it!

Afterwards we then introduced them to cotton candy! It didn't go over so well with Jaycob, he's a texture eater like his father and me. Abygail was all about it. Did it taste sweet? Yep, she ate it up! Between her and I the bag has been gone for about 2 hours now...

MY BIRTHDAY

Best birthday hands down!!! My morning was kinda bum... I took the kids to the pool we had fun, though I didn't get any good pictures. Aspen and Maddy were supposed to come with, but something else came up that they had to attend to. So we were all kinda bummed about that.

But when we got home the house and yard were all decorated. There was a banner across the front windows along with writing. And there were balloons everywhere! It really brought a smile to my face, Aspen is a sneaky one!!

Then the afternoon kinda went off as nothing out of the ordinary, except we picked up our Wii. Dinner came around and Daddy had called Aspen and the girls over for dinner and cake without me knowing. I'm sitting here setting up the Wii when Aspen and the girls show up!! It was such a surprise! After dinner and everything Daddy surprised me again by bringing down a present! Yay!!! It was the camera I had been eyeing up lately. Didn't really need a new, I just wanted something more compact. He's the greatest!!!

Ok well part of dinner! We also had raviolis and green beans! Don't ask me what posessed me to take a picture and I know if I didn't tell you what it was you'd have no idea! But it looked so good and smelled so good!

Park

After our fun morning with Cousin E and Cousin S, Grandma took us for lunch and a little outdoor time at a nearby park!!

Jaycob LOVED this sand digging thing and spent all his time here actually!

And Abygail was my little daredevil this time around. She walked across all of these suspended steps and then went down this slide. This slide, might I add, that was the steepest slide I have ever seen in my whole life!!

We also got to see this whole family of geese. The kids thought it was great that all the babies swam in a line like this.

Trucks with Food

The kids get so excited when the "Foooood Truck" shows up in front of our house.

Imagaine their excitement when this truck showed up on the TV in the living room! They made me rewind it and take a picture so they could "Look at it later"!

Egg Dying

We dyed our Easter Eggs tonight! Older Brother and Sister are here. We had their favorite meal and moved right into dying eggs. All the kids had so much fun.

Warning about extra limbs... Older Sister was sitting next to Jaycob. And most the arms in Abygail's pictures are me. Daddy was behind the camera tonight!!

Abygail refused to put her own eggs in the dye. She would pick the egg, the color, and how long to leave it in there. But she would NOT drop it in there herself! Jaycob on the other hand LOVED doing it all by himself.

Good thing ALL the kids like boiled eggs, because we have over 2 dozen here for them to demolish!

Its always all about whatever meal its time for!! She's just an eating beast. Constant non-stop all the time eating!!

Playgroup Holiday Party

Thursday playgroup holiday party was today. Lots of food, lots of space to run, lots of kids, and a Santa... What more could you ask for??

Once again Abygail was more then willing to climb up into Santa's lap. Santa's all time question "What do you want for Christmas this year?" was answered with a very clear and very loud "Candy!!!". That's my girl!

And Jaycob took some convincing to even stand up there next to Santa and even a little bribing with the goodie bag! Though as you can see in the first picture he was more then willing to show Santa that he got his bag!!
